  • Daughter of Caribbean immigrants.
  • A wife, a mom, a daughter, and someone who loves the outdoors.

Education

  • Received three degrees in six years from Rutgers University – B.S. Public Health Honors, MPH in Epidemiology, and a MPH in Health Education.

Dance & Wellness

  • Professional Modern and African dancer. Award-winning choreographer.
  • RYT certified yoga instructor who taught in the U.S, Kenya, and Mexico.

Leadership

  • 20+ years of experience advising and directing large scale portfolios, providing data-driven strategy, execution, and innovation to health and social impact initiatives.
  • Work has been recognized by the White House Office of National HIV/AIDS Policy.
  • Led a multi-million dollar management consulting portfolio.
  • Founder of Global Simon Group, a social impact company.

Advocacy

  • Influenced a $100M organization to change their paid family leave policy
  • Led a cross-cultural interdisciplinary team to deliver advocacy and leadership programs in India for 200+ participants.

Global

  • Led an organizational capacity building portfolio for Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda under USAID’s: Emerging Pandemic Threats program.
  • Worked with a non-profit in rural Rwanda to improve maternal mortality with transportation and communication systems change.
  • Selected for an exclusive delegation to Cuba to present at the Medical Education for the 21st Century Conference.

Writing and Speaking

  • Spoke at 20+ different events on women’s health and advocacy.
  • Authored the book "Own Your Influence: An Unconventional Journey to Making an Impact at Work."
